The Banshee – new single release and more european shows

A new release is announced for The Banshee on Sept. 21st. The song Colder, from the album “Your Nice Habits”, will be released as digital single with the new rmx of People Around signed by the misteryious Blue Tongues.

One month after (Oct, 26th) the full-lenght will be in all the best UK stores distributed by Cargo.

The Banshee w/ 1990’s – KIY!

It’s going to be HOT! The “Your Nice Habits” tour for The Banshee started late September in Rome sharing the stage with Shit Disco, now the indoor season ends up on the same crime scene, opening for 1990’s at the final Keep It Your Party @ Rising Love.  Kicks (up) and cheers!

Il tour di “Your Nice Habits” si era aperto con i due gigs di spalla a Shit Disco a fine Settembre, e torna questo giovedì 21 Maggio sul luogo del delitto (Roma) per la chiusura del Keep It Yours Club al Rising Love.
I nostri apriranno per i 1990’s, i ragazzacci di Glasgow freschi del nuovissimo album “Kicks” su Rough Trade.
Teenage Kicks, Kicks Up, Kicks, per una serata che promette di essere più che HOT (e non solo per il caldo ormai estivo).
A seguire i resident Djs Noize Invasion, pronti a distribuire fino alla chiusura analgesici sotto forma di esplosioni electro/funk/trash.

The Banshee “Record of the Year” for BBC6’s Tom Robinson

Tom Robinson, conduttore di BBC6 che già altre volte nel corso delle sue trasmissioni ha trasmesso The Banshee, ha scelto “Your Nice Habits” – il recente lavoro della band genovese – come “Record of the Year” (Album dell’anno!).
Airplay previsto per tutta la giornata di lunedì 22 Dicembre, con diversi pezzi in scaletta.

The Banshee’s new album “Your Nice Habits” was chosen by Tom Robinson on BBC6 Music as “Record of the Year”.
Full day airplay is scheduled on Monday 22/12/08 including most of the tracks of the album.

People Around – The Banshee new single and video

This weekend The Banshee are going to shot the videoclip for the new single “People Around”. It will be directed by Stefano Bertelli of Seenfilm, who recently won the prize for the best italian videoclip of 2008. The video, along with the new single – out of the acclaimed album “Your Nice Habits” – will be launched early January 2009.

Questo fine settimana The Banshee gireranno il videoclip per il nuovo singolo “People Around”, penultima traccia dell’acclamato nuovo lavoro “Your Nice Habits”. Il video sarà diretto da Stefano Bertelli di Seenfilm, recente vincitore del Premio per il miglior video italiano del 2008 con “Cinestetica” dei Marta sui Tubi. Il lancio – sia del video che del singolo – è previsto per inizio Gennaio 2009.
